2. Acceptance of Terms
By using the Codexis website or enrolling in a course, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under Thai law. If you are enrolling on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
3. Service Description
Codexis provides structured online learning tracks in AI development, programming, and machine learning. Courses are delivered via an online platform and include written course materials, exercises, and mentor feedback.
We aim to maintain platform availability during business hours, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access at all times. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated where possible. The Service is available primarily to learners in Thailand and Southeast Asia, but is not geographically restricted.
4. User Accounts
Enrolment requires creation of a learner account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.
Accounts may be terminated by Codexis in the event of a material breach of these terms, with or without notice depending on severity. Upon termination, access to course materials will cease, subject to any refund terms in Section 7.
5. User Responsibilities
You agree to use the Service in a lawful manner and in accordance with these terms. The following are prohibited:
- Sharing your account credentials with others or allowing third parties to access course content through your account
- Reproducing, distributing, or reselling course materials without written permission from Codexis
- Using the platform to harass, intimidate, or harm other users or staff
- Submitting content that is defamatory, unlawful, or infringes on third-party rights
- Attempting to access unauthorised areas of the platform or interfering with platform operations
- Submitting exercises completed by a third party as your own work, or using automated tools to complete exercises without disclosure
6. Intellectual Property
All course content, exercise materials, feedback frameworks, and platform design are the intellectual property of Codexis or its licensed contributors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for personal, non-commercial learning purposes during your enrolment period.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from Codexis content without prior written consent. Work products you create as part of course exercises remain your own property; Codexis may use anonymised or aggregated exercise data to improve course content.
7. Payment Terms
Course fees are denominated in Thai Baht (฿) and are payable at the time of enrolment. Current prices:
- Programming for AI Track — ฿4,000
- Machine Learning Project Course — ฿16,500
- Advanced AI Systems Track — ฿33,000
Payment is processed through a secure third-party payment provider. We do not store your full payment card details.
Refund policy: A full refund is available within 7 days of enrolment, provided you have not accessed more than one module of content. After this period, or after accessing more than one module, refunds are at the discretion of Codexis. To request a refund, contact [email protected].
8. Course-Specific Terms
Courses are self-paced unless otherwise stated. There is no fixed completion deadline unless one is communicated at enrolment. Mentor feedback is provided on exercises within a reasonable timeframe, typically 5–7 business days.
Codexis does not award external qualifications, government-recognised certificates, or accreditations. Completion of a track results in an internal Codexis completion record. Mentor feedback on exercises is provided by the assigned mentor and represents that mentor's professional assessment, not a guarantee of quality or outcome.
We reserve the right to modify course content over time to keep materials current. Material changes will be communicated to active enrolees.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is". Codexis makes no representations or warranties that course completion will lead to employment, income, or any specific professional outcome. Learning results depend substantially on individual effort, consistency, and prior background.
Course content is provided for educational purposes only. It does not constitute professional advice in any regulated field. Codexis is not liable for decisions made based on course content.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Thai law, Codexis shall not be liable for: loss of income or business opportunity; indirect or consequential loss; or any damage arising from your reliance on course materials beyond their intended educational use.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant course in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Force majeure: Codexis is not liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including internet infrastructure failures, natural events, or government actions.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Codexis, its staff, and mentors from any claims, losses, or damages (including legal costs) arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the platform, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
12. Termination
You may cease using the Service at any time. Codexis may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms materially. On termination, your licence to access course content ceases immediately. Clauses relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution survive termination.
13. Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first at [email protected] to seek informal resolution. We will aim to respond within 10 business days.
If informal resolution is not possible, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Chiang Mai, Thailand, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
14. General Provisions
- Entire agreement: These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the full agreement between you and Codexis regarding use of the Service.
- Severability: If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
- Waiver: Failure by Codexis to enforce any term does not constitute a waiver of that term.
- Assignment: Codexis may assign its rights under this agreement. You may not assign your rights without our written consent.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms periodically. When we do, the "Last Updated" date above will change. For material changes affecting active enrolees, we will provide notice by email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised terms constitutes acceptance.
